“A very interesting journey with beautiful views and impressions. We learned much about culture, living, religion, cooking and so much more. To see the elefants so near was my highlight. But also the many other animals, which we have seen and the beautiful landscape excited me. Sri Lanka is a beautiful green country. I definitely have to emphasize the friendliness of the Sri Lankans. All in all a wonderful journey through a fascinating country”

“Sri Lanka is an ancient and beautiful country that is diverse in its geography and customs. Four older friends travelled for two weeks with Detroves Travel, organised through our Sydney travel agent. Our tour was fantastic. Well organised, very friendly and led by our professional guide, Siri. We felt safe at all times while touring from north to south through ancient sites and a safari at Yala National Park. The people are predominantly Buddhist and are friendly honest and welcoming. We loved our time in Sri Lanka.”

“7 days with completely different experiences. From lively Colombo, interesting train rides, many cultural highlights, ascents of Lions Rock, daily new varied hotels with delicious food to adventurous hikes on the rails, everything was there. The tour guide Anil gave us many extra tips off the planned route and showed us places we would not otherwise have found. We can definitely recommend this private tour with.”

“The tour was incredibly impressive and incredibly well organized. Even though we had a lot of program, we were all fascinated by the country. Especially the untouched nature and the animals impressed us very much. Our guide Mahesh Nalinda was super friendly, helpful, funny and answered all open questions about this beautiful country. Our driver Sanjeewa Dilan was also incredibly friendly and always in a good mood. We immediately took the two of them into our hearts and we had a hard time saying goodbye. We can really highly recommend the agency and are already looking forward to the next trip today.”

“Great tour in a wonderful country. All people were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our tour guide, Mahesh Nalinda and our driver, Sanjeewa Dilan, could not be beaten. We had a wheelchair user with us, who was always well supported by the two, so he could also enjoy the trip very much. In all our travels of this kind, we have never experienced such professionalism in combination with family and friendly interaction. Thanks again for this lovely experience!”

“The tour was perfectly organized, we had a super friendly driver who also showed himself to be a competent and local guide and thus brought us very close to the country and people. He always had the right tip for every wish! The tour included everything Sri Lanka has to offer: ancient royal cities, temples and various landscapes, safaris, big and small towns and important: well-chosen hotels in mostly magnificent locations. Overall highly recommended!”
