“10 days spent with my colleagues and a great Guide, Amzil Anzar, who introduced us to this beautiful Island with its green landscapes, temples, gardens and typical hotels! Our guide spoke extremely good French, had a lot of humor and professionalism, I highly recommend it. Only one small flat at the agency for a few visits to some shops (woodcut and fabric store) intended solely for tourist use. Otherwise great trip! I recommend”

“Great 12 day round trip, perfectly worked out. Nice and very varied accommodation. We also had the world's best tour guide, Ajith!!! Very good and quiet driver, good knowledge of German. He welcomed us warmly and adjusted wonderfully to us and also conveyed a lot about the culture and life in Sri Lanka and was mega reliable. Just great. We came home with an infinite number of beautiful impressions. THANK YOU!!!!”

“It was the best trip of our lives. We were on the road for 6 days. It all worked out super perfectly. We were picked up directly at the airport in Colmbo by our guide Asiri. We were lucky on our round trip that we were only 2 participants. We were warmly welcomed with orchids. The car was very comfortable and comfortable. Anyone who has ever been to Asia knows how exciting the traffic can be. But we had the best and calmest driver in Asiri. It was very relaxing for us to travel. The stages were balanced. And we were granted all wishes be it a toilet, tea, spices, souvenirs. Asiri always knew a solution. But the best is his super nice and friendly nature. He's grown close to our hearts. He knew an answer to all the questions. Communication in English no problem at all. His knowledge of the country and culture is impressive. Our tour was cultural with the main temples and places. Great hikes up Sigirya Rock to sunrise, Hiltons Plain National Park, Little Adams Peak. Plus the spectacular safaris with not shy elephants. How can the organizer strongly recommend maybe you are as lucky as we are with Asiri. Sri Lanka is a spectacular country and worth a visit.”

“We booked a tour through our travel agency. The agency was top: they were totally trying to tailor the tour to our wishes/ideas (I think 4 or even 5x changed) Also Sanka our guide we can really only recommend: He speaks perfect German, is very patient and very helpful. In addition, was extremely eager to respond to us and fulfill all our wishes. Sri lanka is beautiful, especially the nature: the many greenery, the high mountains, the waterfalls and the many national parks impressed us very much. Also the nice and courteous people are to be emphasized positively.”

“We did a 7 day Tour around Sri Lanka going to Hikkaduwa, Kandy, Dumbulla, Sirigya and Colombo. Such a beautiful and interesting country, we wish we had more time to explore. Our chauffeur/guide did a wonderful job! He had a lot of knowledge and gave us a lot of information about the country, landscape, temple, animals, food experiences etc. He was very always on time, a save driver and a true gentleman So many great experiences and we can highly recommend Chavindra as a chauffeur and Detroves Travel for organising our tour of Sri Lanka 🙏”

“We really enjoyed our 8 days tour around Sri Lanka. It’s a wonderful country with beautiful nature and extra kind people. We saw a lot and had many great experiences. The organization was great, everything went well and we felt safe at all times! Due tue the weather we wanted to do some small program changes which were also not a problem. We really loved every hotel during the tour, people are so lovely. Our Guide Chavi was a really friendly person and told us a lot about the country, that way we could learn about the real life in Sri Lanka and its culture. Chavi is reliable, on time and a good driver, we always felt safe. He did his best to make our travel comfortable and fun. We can recommend Chavi as a driver. We are very happy with the organization and if we get the chance to do it again, we will!”

“We had a 7 day Tour around Sri Lanka. It is such a beautiful and interesting country. Our guide/driver Niki did a great job! He had a lot of knowledge and gave us a lot of information about the country, landscape, temple, animals, food experiences etc. He was very friendly, a save driver and always on time. We had lot of fun! We can recommend Niki as guide/driver :)”
“The round trip to the highlights of Sri Lanka was wonderfully organized. We got a very good impression of the scenic and cultural highlights of the country. We were particularly impressed by the trips to nature such as Udawale National Park and a hike in the highlands. Our special thanks go to the very good German speaking driver Pradeep who accompanied us knowledgeably and reliably and responded to all the wishes we had. In short: it was a wonderful trip.”

“In February 2025 we took Detroves on a beautiful 8-day round trip to the cultural highlights of Sri Lanka including two national parks and a train ride from Elyia Nuwara to Ella. The trip was perfectly organized and everything worked out wonderfully. In retrospect, we might have liked a different selection of national parks and would have preferred to visit the Yala NP with a different wildlife instead of the Udawalawe NP. Our German-speaking guide Maik really made the tour a very special experience. In him we had a guide and also driver, with whom we felt well looked after and informed at all times. Maik is a wonderful person who explains a lot, but also knows when there is no need for words. Thank you Maik!!”

“It was a wonderful trip on a magnificent island, well organized by Detroves with great hotels and adapted to the sometimes heavy downpours. Our thanks go above all to our guide Anas and our driver Rajith. With a lot of care and feeling for our needs, they were flexible and tried to show us as much as possible and almost bring - of the culture, the people, the food , the fora and fauna. We always felt in good hands and safe, thank you very much”
