“We did a round trip through Sri Lanka with the agency Detroves Travels and our private guide Manjula, who accompanied us every day. It was an amazing experience and a perfect way to see and truly get to know the culture of Sri Lanka. Everything was extremely well organized – we didn’t have to worry about anything at all. You really couldn’t ask for a better guide than Manjula. He explained everything very clearly, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made sure we were comfortable. No matter what we wanted, he did everything he could to make it happen. He always made sure we had enough water, stopped spontaneously at the roadside to let us try local fruits, and explained how they are prepared. We did everything from our planned tour, but he also took us to spontaneous places and showed us things that were very interesting and not necessarily on the schedule. We are very grateful that we had Manjula as our guide and would recommend him and Detroves Travels to anyone without hesitation.”

“An experience of a lifetime. My wife and I just completed our 10 day tour and are truly lost for words. Sri Lanka is one of the most beautiful countries we have ever travelled to. I would highly recommended it to anyone looking for a holiday with amazing people, scenes, food and experiences, everything exceeded our expectations. “I took an individual tour for 7 days staying in Kandy, Nuwara Eiya and Ella, 2 nights each in small Boutique Hotels. My guide, Sarath, is a very special person. He is very knowledgeable, flexible, and reliable and spoke good English as well. So I got a good overview about history, culture and nature. The trip included sightseeing and walking. Alltogether it was well organized. I can recommend Detroves Travel because they put an individuell program for me together.”

“Sri Lanka- the name beautiful island lives up to this. The yet different landscapes and friendly people have fulfilled, even exceeded, our expectations in terms of culture and cleanliness in the public area. We were happy to see that. The company Detroves, with our Guid Mahesh Nalinda and the good soul, the always ready and sensationally good driver Sampath have made this holiday a great experience for us. There was hardly a wish left unfulfilled. Our enthusiasm for the architect Bawa made Mahesh grow, with some additional speck visits and insoles. It was thrilling. “Our 5-day trip through Sri Lanka was a wonderful experience for the whole family. Mr. Upali, our guide who speaks perfect German, answered every question and introduced us to the culture of his homeland in an extremely interesting way. We were all very impressed by his knowledge (including our children). He took care of everything on site and responded to our wishes. Our driver, Mr. Donald, a very personable man, drove us safely from place to place in his comfortable and always clean car. We were accompanied by a very professionally organized team. Everything went flawlessly. Thank you for the wonderful impressions in Sri Lanka!”
